How to curl my hair?!?

Kk so im havin a kinda formal party tmmrw %26amp;%26amp; i need my hair 2 look reallly good oviously. my hair is long and brown, barely layered. i can't go ut and get rollers. and my hair doesn't curl with those thick 3 inch curling irons. but i have a lot of curling irons and like 2 straighteners and an iso. anyway ii want my hair to look like these;

i wash my hair and then when its just a little damp i put it in sponge curlers for the night. it ends up gorgeous and everyones jealous and the curlers are really cheap, try it!How to curl my hair?!?
If you have a curling iron that has the medal piece to help hold the hair use that. but dont hold the hair with the medal piece, it ruins the curls and leaves a mark, just wait for it to warm up and then wrap your hair as close to the top as possible and then wait 30 seconds and let it fall into place, use any hair spray to keep it from falling apart (dont use a lot and do not use gel) hope this helps!
