How can I make my hair voluminous?

I recently got my hair trimmed but the hairdresser razored my hair too thin for my liking. How do I make it thick again? I also tried to curl my hair with rollers and it didn't turn out nicely. So how do I make my thin hair look nice with curls?How can I make my hair voluminous?

I know your hair is thin already, but you should go back and have the hairdresser give you layers. They will add definition and a voluminous-look, especially if they're piece-y, choppy layers. And, if you trim off some length along with the layers, your hair might naturally become wavy, especially if you don't towel-dry your hair, straighten it, or blow dry it right after you get out the shower.
